What does the free freight invoice audit check?

We check each invoice line against your contracted rates and shipment data and show you, per shipment:

  • Charges billed above your agreed rates
  • Surcharges with no contracted rate
  • Duplicate invoices and charges
  • Currency conversion issues
  • Spend by carrier, lane, service and surcharge
  • An estimate of what you could recover and save

If you send invoices only (no rate cards), we can still show spend, duplicates, FX issues and charges with no reference price. Rate cards or contracts let us check every line against your agreed prices.

What do I need to send?

  • Carrier invoices (PDF, Excel, CSV, or forwarded emails; we read more than 50 carrier formats)
  • Rate cards or contracts, including surcharge rules (optional, but needed for a full rate check)
  • Shipment data if you have it (Excel, CSV or XML)

The time period depends on what you want to test; one month of invoices is often enough.

What happens after the free audit?

You keep the findings. If you want to keep auditing, you can continue month by month on our pay as you go plan or choose a yearly plan. There is no obligation to continue.
